This Notice explains how Ophir LLC, an Idaho limited liability company (“Ophir,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles personal information through ophir.solutions, contractor-branded estimators, contractor accounts, support, and related services.

OUR ROLES

For a homeowner's estimate request, the contractor named on that estimator determines the purpose of the request and is generally the business/controller. Ophir processes the request for that contractor as its service provider/processor. Ophir is separately a business/controller for its own account administration, billing, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, support, and service improvement. The named contractor's privacy notice may also apply.

This allocation follows how the Service is designed; actual conduct controls. Ophir will not sell a contractor's leads, use them for unrelated advertising, or disclose them to other contractors unless the individual separately requests and consents to that use.

Information we collect

Depending on use, we collect:

Identity and contact data: name, email, telephone number, service address or ZIP code, contractor company, job title, and account credentials.
Property and project data: home type/age/size, current system, fuel, project preferences, answers in the estimator, selected estimate, notes, and appointment request.
Contractor data: legal/DBA name, address, tax and payment status, licenses, insurance, service area, prices, product catalogs, warranties, logos/content, financing-program facts, and authorized users.
Transaction data: plan, charges, billing address, payment status, Stripe token/identifier, receipts, cancellations, and subscription history. Ophir uses Stripe for hosted payment processing and does not intend to store full card numbers or security codes. `[VERIFY THE FINAL STRIPE INTEGRATION.]`
Device and usage data: IP address, browser/device, timestamps, pages/events, referral URL, cookie/consent choices, approximate location inferred from IP, logs, and security events.
Communications and support: emails, calls or messages, feedback, requests, and dispute records.
Consent evidence: the exact disclosure and document versions presented, checkbox state, contractor name, timestamp, page/source, IP address, and user agent.
Information from vendors and public/official sources: payment, email-delivery, fraud, analytics, business-registration, and professional-license information.

Do not collect diagnoses, Social Security numbers, full payment credentials, precise geolocation, government IDs, or credit application data through the estimator. If the product changes, update this Notice and the data map before collection.

How we use information

We use information to:

operate, personalize, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service;
calculate and deliver planning estimates and route requests to the specifically named contractor;let the contractor respond, arrange an evaluation, and manage its estimator;
create and administer contractor accounts, subscriptions, support, authentication, and billing;
send transactional messages and, with any consent required by law, marketing communications;
detect abuse, protect rights and safety, keep evidence of consent and transactions, enforce agreements, and comply with law;
analyze performance using aggregated or deidentified information; and
complete a merger, financing, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not use homeowner submission content to train a general-purpose AI model. `

When we disclose information

We disclose information only as reasonably needed to:

the Participating Contractor named on the estimator and its authorized personnel;
subprocessors that provide hosting/site operation, workflow automation, email delivery, payment processing, customer support, analytics/consent, security, and professional services, listed at `https://ophir.solutions/subprocessors` once the production inventory is complete;
professional advisers, insurers, auditors, financing/acquisition counterparties, and authorities where permitted or required;
protect users, Ophir, contractors, or others; investigate fraud/security; or establish and defend legal claims; and
a successor in a corporate transaction, subject to law.

Vendors may use information only under their contracts and applicable law. Do not add ad networks, data brokers, or unrelated lead buyers without revising the product, consent, contracts, and Notice.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential technologies for security, sessions, load balancing, and consent. If enabled with your choice, we may use analytics to understand use and advertising technologies to measure or personalize marketing. See the Cookie Notice and use `Cookie Choices` in the footer to change non-essential choices.

Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not standardized, so the Service does not always respond to them. Where required, we honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, for applicable sale/sharing or targeted-advertising processing.

As currently intended, Ophir does not sell personal information for money or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention

We retain information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, legal obligations, security, disputes, and enforcement. Our planned schedule is:

estimate submissions and ordinary lead records: 24 months after the last activity, then delete or deidentify;
consent, opt-out, and do-not-call evidence: 5 years after the last relevant communication;
contractor agreements, invoices, tax, and payment records: 7 years after termination or transaction;
support records: 24 months after resolution;
routine security logs: 12 months; and
encrypted backups: rolling 90 days, after which deleted data ages out.

We may retain specific records longer for an active dispute, legal hold, fraud/security matter, or law. The contractor may instruct a different lawful period for data Ophir processes solely for it.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed for the nature of the information, including access controls, multi-factor authentication for privileged users, encryption in transit, vendor review, logging, backups, and incident response. No method is completely secure. Do not email passwords or payment information to us.

Your choices and rights

You may opt out of promotional email through its unsubscribe link, reply STOP to marketing texts, and ask not to receive marketing calls. Transactional replies to your request may continue as permitted. You can change cookie choices through the footer.

Depending on where you live and whether a law applies to Ophir or the contractor, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or an appeal, and may opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. We do not discriminate for exercising privacy rights. To request, email info@ophir.solutions; state your name, contact information, relationship to Ophir, and request. We will verify requests proportionately and may ask an authorized agent for proof of authority. If Ophir handles the data only for a contractor, we may route the request to that contractor.

Appeal a denial by emailing info@ophir.solutions with “Privacy Appeal.” California residents may also request the categories of information collected, sources, purposes, third parties, and specific pieces, subject to applicable law. California's “Shine the Light” request, if applicable, may be sent to the same address.

Children

The Service is for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate. Users must be at least 18 to submit an estimate request.

U.S. processing

The Service is offered in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and any other country listed for a subprocessor, where laws may differ.

changes

We will post changes here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects information already collected, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required.
